Hi! My name is MiKayla, and I'm a master beekeeping student who started backyard beekeeping in 2019 in Colorado. It’s my mission to share my passion for bees and encourage others to not be scared of all the stingy insects, but instead appreciate and protect them. I do this by educating about honey bees, native bees, other pollinators, and beekeeping on social media and through my blog, and offering beekeeping mentoring and hive tours. Zen and the Art of Beeing, LLC is proud to support pollinator organizations with a portion of proceeds from sales of honey, handmade copper honeycomb jewelry, and other bee-related products from my store.
