Leave the Leaves Sticker

Did you know one of the best things you can do for native pollinators also cuts something off your fall to-do list? That’s right – simply leave the leaves on the ground!

Leaves and plant debris provide critical habitat for a number of pollinators to overwinter.  Waiting at least until spring when temperatures rise above 50 degrees to remove any of this debris is an easy way to do your part for conservation of pollinators (If you need to get rid of it at that point – try to compost it if you can).
