Beekeeper Mentoring

I love helping people with their bees, and we can structure our mentorship many different ways:

  • One-off visits to inspect your bees with you and help diagnose a specific problem
  • Season-long mentoring in which I am available the entire season to answer your questions as things arise
  • Start-up help in which I’ll help you figure out what equipment you need to buy, where to get your bees, and where (and how) to set them up

Description

Do you want to become a beekeeper but don’t know where to start?

Or maybe you tried beekeeping once but gave up when you lost your first colony.

Beekeeping is one of those things where it’s really helpful to have a mentor; someone who can help you figure out what to do when you see something weird in your hive, or help you learn the best way to deal with Varroa and keep healthy bees that survive winters.

I love helping people with their bees, and we can structure our mentorship many different ways:

I am local to the Aurora,CO area and will do in person mentoring in the Denver metro area.  For a higher trip charge, I will go to Boulder, Ft Collins, Colorado Springs areas.  Beyond that, I am happy to offer virtual mentoring, although if possible you should also connect with someone local to you because there are some things in beekeeping that very much depend on the specific location.
